The title of this track is long but I think every word of it is necessary. It is a song meant to encompass all of those people who I may not talk to, see, hear from that have touched me and changed me for the better. Love is never a waste of time and always leaves us better than it found us.
lyrics
When Darkness falls like a steady rain
And Satan laughs as he holds your chain
Though I’m far away I will scream your name
To let you know that you are loved
When your all alone in your four post bed
And you got your past dancing in your head
And you lie awake wishing you were dead
I hope you know that you were loved
And I can’t be there tonight, I can’t make you feel allright
I don’t know how it works, I just know that it hurts
When you have to say goodbye
Friends and loves have come and gone
That’s the game of moving on
And if you stay or you leave it don’t matter to me
If you know that you were loved
What will always be is what’s always been
You may not call me up you may not call me friend
If we take different roads if we don’t speak again
I hope you know that you
I’m a world away I’m a ghost in time
I’m a slideshow reel locked within your mind
And when you turn it on hope it makes you smile
Just seeing you were loved
And if you stay or leave, know you matter to me
And know that you were loved
