This song is of course not by me at all but by the great Jonathan Stokes. Mariaugenia is a shortened smushed together version of his mothers name. When he was young after she would give him the punishment he deserved started writing songs about her sort of as a joke. I believe that with the new Chasing Down Riley album that we are now completing that we will have to include a new version of Mariaugenia. While Prom Queen took a million hours and this track took about two minutes, the in the moment magic and Jon's hilarious words make this a classic.
